Cleco Power Wise Air Conditioner / Heat Pump Rebates can save customers up to $3,500 when replacing their air conditioning system with a new energy efficient unit. The instant rebate is offered to the customer from the Cleco-approved contractor at the time of purchase. The contractor handles submitting all paperwork and required documentation.
Heat Pump
- Amount of rebate varies based on SEER2, EER2, and HSPF2 ratings. Heat pump must have a minimum 14.3 SEER2, $350-$600/ton per standard unit up to 5.4 tons with a $3,500 cap per qualifying unit. All systems must be AHRI-rated, as evidenced by the appropriate AHRI certificate.
Air Conditioner
- Amount of rebate varies based on SEER2 and EER2 rating. Unit must have minimum 15.2 SEER2, $150-$250/ton per unit up to 5.4 tons
